Maysville-Mason County Recreation Park
The largest park in Maysville, located just outside the pioneer village of Old Washington at 2340 Old Main St., is a 57-acre space with a swimming facility, dog park, a par-three golf course, putt-putt golf, two tennis courts, four pickleball courts, two softball fields, five picnic shelters, several playgrounds and a one-mile walking trail. The park offers sand volleyball and corn hole, all equipment furnished. The park’s biggest attraction is a 12-acre fishing lake (Kentucky fishing license required). The park gates are open from dawn till 11 p.m. Access to the lake walking/driving trail is not restricted.

Swimming:

  • 1/2 price after 4:30 p.m.

The recreation park also includes a dog park, playground, corn hole courts, three tennis courts, and four pickleball courts.

Recreation Park Shelters

Recreation Park has four shelters, Browning, RECC, DeKalb and Lake, which may be reserved May through October. These have reservation fees by the day on weekends. There is no charge to use the shelters during the week, and reservations may be made. Reservations may be made no more than one year in advance.
